Tiaras Made a Triumphant Return During Spring 2016 Shows
Three top tier designers met and designed three distinctive, original upgrades to a classic tiara. It is no longer a plastic and marabou feathers accessory often wore at bachelorette parties, they transformed it to a eligible ornament you can wear on many occasions. Those three designers are non-other than Saint Lauren, Louis Vitton and Miu Miu. World class designers set out on a noble task, tiaras are accessories that hold a lot of potential, but for some reason no one developed them further in recent years.
And they certainly did live up to their potential. Hedi Slimane presented a cornucopia of dainty, crystal covered numbers that looked both chic and elegant. Loius Viton came out next, with lovely anime inspired accessories wore by Fernanda Ly and Estelle Chen. They radiated soothing elegance, and looked inspiring – like something out of Sailor Moon almost. Next was Miu Miu with chunky zig zag versions that featured a lot of spiky gems. Of all the collections, Miu Miu’s tiaras seem like a best choice if you desire to venture outside and spread you princely charms around town.
All the models gave of a daunting queenly vibe and reminded us we want a tiara of our own in near future. From lovely white zig-zag of Silmane’s, to a subtle silvery piece with a black stone in the middle as a centerpiece by Louis Vutton and toward queenly, floral designs of Miu Miu’s tiara – it would be a hard choice if they made me choose one! They would truly make a whole new possibility for further facial decoration, and imagine the combinations! Ruby earing with a subtle tiara of white gold or a silver thick one with white earing as bright as stars – choices are infinite. We for one are truly exciting at the prospect of seeing people wear tiaras on the streets.
