The Oxblood Lips At The Prorsum Spring 2016 Show
The oxblood lips at the Burberry possum spring 2016 show were drastic in more ways than one. The brand released images of the beautiful looks and the products and ingredients used to create it on snap chat the day before the presentation was made giving followers, haters and admirers a sneak preview of the show in advance twelve hours before the show began.
What made the moody pout feel especially modern was due to the way it was made blurred around the perimeter a trick that makeup artists Wendy Rowe said allows the strong color to work on everyone regardless of their skin. Wendy explains how to wear bold lips by making them soft at the edge thus giving a feeling of fullness. She further explains that it also works on small lips. “This is how to wear bold lips in making them soft at the edge. It will give that felling of fullness so this works even on small lips.”
To bring focus to the mouth, the rest of the face was left simple, a quick brow brushing, no mascara and an application of barberry runaway-success contouring sticks. Rowe says she has been using this for years now and it makes her happy that people can finally buy them. Rowe then applied one layer of lip lipstick in oxblood, blotted with tissue and then added another swipe of the color before rubbing a ci-tip around the edge to soften the line. According to Rowe, this is what makes it more wearable and even more convenient for kissing.
