Style: Summer Staples For Fall Wardrobe Layers
With Fall rapidly drawing closer, I needed to impart three looks to you today to help move your wardrobe from Summer to Fall. My greatest tip in terms of these clumsy couple of months of not recognizing what to wear: layering. Having the capacity to take off or add on to your look for the duration of the day is vital to surviving the last few warm days and transitioning into those cooler evenings. We should break these looks down a bit:
Such a simple, effortless look that can be spruced up or down, depending upon the event. I cherish how a boyfriend blazer can make a generally basic outfit look so polished and set up together. This blazer is an unquestionable requirement for any wardrobe, not exactly $100 and comes in more than five hues! The tank I’m layering with has rapidly turned into one of my most loved go-to pieces in my wardrobe. I at first discovered this tank in the store and fell in love with how delicate and satiny it is!
Boyfriend Blazer + Grey Tank
I’m a sucker for anything that is agreeable + chic. When I got it home and styled it with this outfit, I purchased it in 2 different hues! They’re so extraordinary to relax around in, layer or just wear alone. I cherish the oversized look and v-neck front + back. Presently, onto the denim – I’m OBSESSED with an incredible pair of jeans. Everything from the wash to the fit, having extraordinary denim in your wardrobe is such a staple for building any outfit on. I have begun to look all starry eyed at this fit, called ‘The Stiletto’ and can’t wear them enough! When you discover a denim brand that fits you well, washes well and compliments your shape + figure – stay with it! Also, last, yet definitely not least, the accessories. Ilove, love, love cognac accessories – particularly for Fall! I included pointy-toe heels and a horseshoe bag to add a little warmth to the shading palette and love the result. Accessories can make or break an outfit!
White + Camel
At whatever time you’re wanting to move your look from Summer to Fall, join white. There’s something so chic around an all white look, yet pairing a faux-leather jacket on top in a warm shading can totally change the whole look. I cherish anything with an oversized lapel. I simply think it includes such an oversized, fantastic look to your layering pieces and gives you an extremely ‘Olivia Pope chicness’ about you. Any Scandal fans out there?! Also, the tank I layered with in this outfit is additionally one of my top choices! Just $20 and such a complimenting fit + shape. I claim no less than 5 of these and continually incline toward them on a week after week basis. Layering pieces are key!
Suede Skirt + White Blouse
Fantastic, excellent, exemplary. This look is PERFECT for transitioning into cooler climate. The skirt is a warm shading + suede (which is so exemplary Fall), however the mini makes it weather appropriate. I matched it with a white shirt to keep the hues neutral and included a pop of print in my accessories. As I would see it, leopard is a neutral and I cherish how it brings the two hues (camel + black) together. The calf-hair shoes and suede skirt blend gives the look an extravagant vibe, while the shirt is the staple piece in the look entwining it all. Include a black sack and you’re good to go! Such a variety of fantastic pieces in one outfit that won’t burn up all available resources!
