Red Carpet Beauties At The New York Film Festival Amal Clooney, Kate Winslet, and More
A lot has been going on in the month of October. Whether it is in Paris or London, New York maintains its hype with New York Film Festival drawing its own dazzling crowd across the Atlantic. With amazing films including Steve Jobs, Bridge of Spies, and The Walk making their stateside debut, our stars walked out in their best.
Amal Clooney joined husband George for the 15th anniversary of the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? She looked gorgeous in a minidress from Versace with matching heels by Jimmy Choo. Others followed suit in shades of green, such as Eve Hewson, who looked flawless in a Prada number at theBridge of Spies premiere. It wasn’t all glitter and shine, though.
Cate Blanchett and Rachel Weisz both worked printed looks for the red carpet; Blanchett, at a special screening of Truth, in a long-sleeved, ’70s-inspired stunner by Giorgio Armani; Weisz in a geometric Marc Jacobs ensemble. Also playing with color-blocking was Greta Gerwig in Roksanda, while Alicia Vikander and Kate Winslet both hinted at skin through clever sheer detailing.
Of course, there were a lot of celebs who managed to look beautiful in the old, evening looks. Winona Ryder and bright young stars including Saoirse Ronan and Katherine Waterston managed to make the LBD shine with interesting details, such as a fringed hem and whimsical decoration. As awards season is just about to begin, here’s hoping these rising talents show an equally striking figure on the red carpets ahead.
