Media Reaction For Ben Affleck Divorce From Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner went out for dessert with daughters Violet, and Seraphina a month ago. The couple reported they are separating not long ago.
Group Ben or Team Jen? The intellectuals are saying something regarding (this week’s) Big Hollywood Divorce — the separation of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner — and the news is bad for the Cambridge homeboy.
The celeb media has blamed the split for the most part for Ben, for reasons that include:
1.) His betting.
2.) His drinking. (He went to recovery in 2001).
3.) His hot career.
4.) His should be “Social Ben” (whatever that implies).
5.) His “emotional crisis.”
Jennifer Garner, who has made a career on playing the understanding girlfriend/mother/wife, is generally being depicted as the thoughtful figure in this Tinseltown dramatization, while Ben, well, not really. Which is bad for Affleck — or his blasting profession as an A-List actor/executive.
“I am here to let you know which is the right group. It is Team Jen,” announced the Daily Beast.
“Managing him is not a walk on the roses,” an “insider” told the New York Daily News, which helpfully included “Poor Jen!”
What’s more, even business book of scriptures Forbes picked sides: “As opposed to conjecture on what was behind their split (which was unquestionably his blame),” the magazine wrote. “We should trust that Garner is planning in a post- divorce profession renaissance.”
Most stories on the separation take note of that Garner’s profession has taken a rearward sitting arrangement to Ben’s red hot Hollywood rebound. What’s more, numerous “insiders” have told numerous celebrity sites that his continuous unlucky deficiencies from home for work took a toll on the marriage.
So while Jen has been painted as a the patient wife and (just about) housewife, Ben’s outings to Vegas to play high-stakes poker, his Oscar speech in which he called his marriage “work” and his outing to Canada — without his wedding ring! on her birthday! — were noted in the vast majority of the records of the split.
In any case, the marriage was a battle for both sides, we’re told.
“It’s not only some thing,” an insider told the Track. “Relational unions are hard. It’s hard when you have two extremely fruitful individuals — whether they are performing artists or non-on-screen characters — to keep it making a go at, juggling the greater part of that. Eventually its insufficient for some individual. However, this is a choice they considered important. They are still an adoring family, yet this is the place we are at this time.”
