Kendall Jenner, Rihanna Are Bringing Back Accessory for Fall
After a couple of years of slightest and intimate jewelry, it’s so good to see a rise in no-holds-barred statement jewelry. One reason for the rebirth of these heavily decorated styles is Drew Ginsburg’s line, Dylanlex.
“It was just an aesthetic that had developed organically,” says Ginsburg, adding, “I tell myself that’s why people connect with it so much.” Its daring collars are making the biggest influence with A-listers these days, and stars like Zoë Kravitz have taken to put them at the neck by the handful. Model Hilary Rhoda wore hers with a celebratory, printed frock, and Alicia Keys even took the eye-catching piece to the red carpet. “They should act as an element of added dimension and detail,” explains Ginsburg, “not just this season’s color trend thrown over your head. Whatever you are going for, your statement necklace should be used to make it richer.”
Ginsburg, a Philadelphia native who defines her style as both punk and eccentric, has recently added a new cord to the label’s bow—a new collection of sparkling earrings. And that’s music to the ears of more-is-more jewelry lovers everywhere.
