Kate Spade struck a deal with FTD, which supplied (gratis) thousands of beautiful flowers at Friday’s presentation. Guests were grabbing flowers and making their own bouquets, some paying more attention to the floral displays than the pretty clothes on display. Deborah Lloyd, president and chief creative officer, said so the flowers don’t go to waste, they were distributing them to show venues around town after the presentation was over.
