HOW PROENZA SCHOULER SLEEKIFIED THE SOFT, ROMANTIC BRAID
America and Cuba are reconciled over the past year, but the Proenza Schouler show last night really brought the feud earlier nations in harmony, this time in the form of braid. "The guys went to Cuba and they are very interested in this very confident, very sexy, very passionate, very strong Cuban women, "said Anthony Barber Turner. "It is almost like meeting New York Cuba- [braid] is how we bring the two elements together."
The elegant braid "pinched" to the neck Turner did not do exactly popular with models. "The girls hate me now," he laughed. After dividing strands through the middle, it fogged over with a combo of Bumble and Bumble Thickening Lotion and preparation, then blew dry hair with his fingers for texture. Then he shot the length in a tense ponytail, divided into three sections, and the conventional coated Hairspray whenever it crosses integrally on the other to remove any fuzz and flyaways. "The reason I'm not the first braiding [and spraying after] is because it seems romantic, "he explained, adding that" it is the daughter Proenza at the end of the day, he must y- be a member of freshness ".
A Catwalker, however, escaped the strict, pulled-back tresses: Shelby Hayes, a model that was found only two weeks Ago while shopping at the grocery store in California. Turner managed to get hold of its natural halo curls one day before the show, cutting, shorter youth culture of the track. "It was really big and circular, as an African, "said the rookie." It was kind of an odd length before, but this is perfect-it almost feels as it is in a ponytail all the time, which is nice because it's so hot.
