It takes 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar,  20 drops of melaleuca essential oil and 2 capsules of live probiotics. Melaleuca oil or tea tree oil is very efficient, I tried it myself and it’s absolutely great!

Mix all the ingredients together, you can use a hand blender and put it in a bottle and store in a cool place. You can use this mixture every day. Dampen skin with warm water and massage the mixture onto your face and neck and then rinse it well.

If you want a healthy and shiny skin, toning is an important part of the process! Use pure, apple cider vinegar with mother culture and smooth over skin with a cotton ball with particular attention to active breakouts. Apple cider vinegar  has lots of ingredients such as acetic acid, potassium, magnesium and various enzymes that kill bacteria. Bacteria and fungi on your skin can be a probable cause of the problem with acne. Eliminating them will help to minimise the problem.

3. Masks

For this mask, you should mix two tablespoons of raw honey, one teaspoon of coconut oil and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Smooth over the face but avoid the eyes area, since the cinnamon can irritate this delicate skin around your eyes. Leave it for five to ten minutes and then remove it with a damp cloth. Due to its antibacterial properties, honey and cinnamon are a great combination for treating acne.

The exfoliating must be gentle  since irritated skin tends to react with excessive producing of sebum, which will worsen the problem. So, you need something mild and gentle that will help your skin get rid of all the dead cells but not in an aggressive way.

For the scrubs, you can choose the ingredients. For the gritty part, you can use sea salt, brown sugar or ground oatmeal and for the base, your choice could be coconut oil, kefir or honey. So, mix two tablespoons of the dry ingredient and one or two tablespoons of the base that you chose. Rub into skin into circular motion. After you remove the mixture with the damp cloth, rinse well.

In this case, the ingredients of the base serve  as antibacterial components and dry ingredients mechanically unplug pores and remove the dead cells.
