Perfect High Ponytail

2 Easy Ways To Help You Make A Perfect High Ponytail

A perfect high ponytail comes as a savior when you’re getting late and have no idea what to do with your long hair.

Ponytails are not only super quick and easy to make and very comfortable to wear, they are also very chic. A perfect high ponytail is one of the most versatile hairstyles available for medium length and long hair. They can be worn both on your sporty adventures and on dressy occasions. And there’s another bonus to it – they are this season’s big hit.

So, how to make a perfect high ponytail?

Here are the 2 simple methods to create a perfect high ponytail

The first method is best done on hair that is not freshly washed. If you, however, did just wash your hair, you can use a little dry shampoo to tame it. Start by brushing your hair thoroughly and making sure that there are no tangles left. Then separate a thin section of your hair about midway to the crown and backcomb it towards the roots to create volume at the top. Gather the hair into a ponytail and smooth it out with a brush or a comb, passing very lightly over the top where the teased hair is. Secure it with an elastic band at the crown of your head. To make your ponytail a real perfect high ponytail, pull a thin section of hair from the bottom of the ponytail and wrap it around the band, securing it with a bobby pin from underneath. Set the hairstyle with hairspray to keep it all in place.

For the second method, flip your head over and brush your hair. Use a teasing brush for combing your hair gently back towards the roots for adding the volume, while holding one section of your hair up. Pull the hair from your ears and make a thin ponytail at the crown, smoothing it out with your hand and securing with a tie. Gather the rest of the hair  from underneath and make a second ponytail. There you go, now you have not one, but two ponytails that extend the visual length of your hair and sport a great volume.
