Grease: Live Cast – New Age, New Faces!
Grease: Live Cast is not any less attractive or brilliant than the original one – and to make sure it’s so, producers have split the main roles of the remake of the legendary musical between Tveit and Hough and included many other familiar faces like Vanessa Hudgens, Mario Lopez, and Cary Rae Jepsen.

Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko
Originally played by handsome John Travolta, Danny Zuko now has the face of Aaron Tveit – a talented actor we’ve previously seen in Graceland, Gossip Girls and Les Misérables.
Julianne Hough as Sandy
The role of the good girl Sandy is now taken by young and beautiful Julliane Hough, who’s also a country singer and professional dancer.
Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie
The second main male role has been taken by the Big Time Rush star.
Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo
Following the premiere of the show, the most talked-about was brave and talented miss Hudgens, who put on a great show despite losing her father to cancer only a day earlier.
Keke Palmer as Pink Lady Marty Maraschino
The Grease: Live cast sees this young Illinois actress in the role of lovely Maraschino.
Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy
One of the Grease main characters, fun-loving Frenchy, is played by the famous pop star.
David Del Rio as a Member of The T-Birds
The Troop actor Del Rio has also joined the Grease: Live cast.
Kether Donohue as a Member of The Pink Ladies
The Pitch Perfect actress too accompanies the ensemble.
Mario Lopez as Vince Fontaine
The radio announcer Fontaine is played by Lopez.
Eve Plumb as Mrs. Murdock
Alice Ghostley is replaced by Eve Plumb in 2016.
Boyz II Men
The R&B group joins the musical to serenade Jespen’s character.
Joe Jonas’s band play Johny Casino and the Gamblers – the school dance band.
The original Frenchy now rejoins the Grease: Live cast as the local malt shop waitress.
