About Cedric Buchet
In 1974 Paris, Cedric Buchet was born to a family of both French and Danish ancestry. At a young age of 13, he shifted to America and enrolled at Vassar College to study philosophy.
Over the years, Cedric has maintained his remarkable reputation in both the art and the fashion world leading them together as one industry. Cedrics popularity began with the introduction of his outstanding spring/summer Prada campaign in 2001. Over the years he has worked with Prada, Cacharel, Dior, Stella McCartney, Procter and Gamble, Hewlett Packard, Sega and Habitat. His more recent clients include Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Elie Saab, Sonia Rykiel, Biotherm, Mango, Eres, Weill, Bergdorf Goodman, Piazza Sempione, and Cesare Paciotti. Cedric has also done some celebrity shoots consisting of James Franco, David & Victoria Beckham, Demi Moore, Marion Cotillard, Christina Hendricks, Dakota Fanning, Angelica Houston and Debbie Harry and Olivia Wilde.
French Vogue, British Vogue, Vogue Hommes International, Harper’s Bazaar US, I-D, GQ Style, Man About Town, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Wonderland, V Magazine, 10 Magazine and Self Service are some of the magazines which have featured Cedrics editorials.
He had the honor of holding his first solo exhibition in 2002, at the Jousse-Entreprise Gallery in Paris. In 2004 his work was highly appreciated and exhibited at the MOMA (New York) in the “Fashioning Fiction” exhibit, which was curated by Susan Kismaric. Cedrics work is now kept in private collections in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles and Miami and also detained in the permanent compilation at the MOMA, Fond National d’Art Contemporain (Paris).
