Adorable chocolate truffles that are so easy to make

Mmmm, chocolate! The sweetest word on Earth! For all of us, sugar addicts, chocolate is a peace of heaven!  And these adorable chocolate truffles will sweep you off your feat, for sure! So yummy!

Dark chocolate is the main ingredient in these sweet little balls. Many research studies suggest that dark chocolate is actually really healthy. For this recipe, we will use dark chocolate with 70% cocoa. A 100-gram bar of this dark chocolate contains fiber, Iron, Magnesium, Copper, Manganese and also a plenty of  phosphorus,  zinc,  potassium, and selenium.

It is also rich in antioxidants, which are substances that help your body and your cells to rejuvenate and protects them from premature aging. There is also evidence that dark chocolate may lower blood pressure due to  its ingredients.

Chocolate truffles – the easiest recipe for maximum taste

You will need 300 g (10.5 oz) of dark chocolate with 70% cocoa, 200 ml (6.7 oz) of heavy whipping cream, 30 ml (1 oz) of liquor (rum or whiskey), pure cocoa powder and chocolate sprinkles.

First of all, heat up the heavy whipping cream in the saucepan over medium heat until boiling. In the large bowl, prepare the dark chocolate by breaking it into the small pieces. When the heavy whipping cream is heated enough, pour the cream over the chocolate and stir it with the whisk until the chocolate is completely melted.

After that, add rum and stir again until all ingredients are well combined and smooth. You should then put it in the fridge for at least six hours. When it is chilled, use a spoon and take out small pieces of cold ganache and make round balls by pressing and rolling the truffles between the palms of your hands.

You can roll half of the truffles in the cocoa and for the rest, you can add chocolate sprinkles! And the amazing dessert is done! Your guests will love it!
